Will it be messy?
Will you need a server?
Tickets for public events with Megan of Como Creative are $40 and can be sold on our website or by the venue. They do not incur a charge for the entertainment & walk up or last minute sign-ups are always welcomed for your guests for $40 each. Some projects may vary depending on the craft.
What does our venue recieve?
Typically our guests stay to paint 2.5 hours. Thats 2.5 hours they can be refilling drinks, ordering more food, shopping merch, and available for you to turn them into forever customers.
Some venues choose to upcharge guests and include a drink or a coupon & then just cut a check for my services after the event. Just another option!
The venue recieves a free canvas to paint along when 5 tickets are sold. Ill send flyers you can post to recruit guests. And some venues use their free canvas to motivate employees, raffle for customers, but mostly owners love to paint along and are welcome!!
My acrylic paints are student grade and washable non-toxic paint that easily cleans off most non-pourous surfaces. I bring tablecovers, aprons and clean up tools and always leave the venue how I found it.
What will we paint?
I have a gallery of hundreds of paintings to choose from! Or I can choose a "favorite hits" design that has performed well in the past. I can instruct one step-by-step painting design at a time.
Custom work & projects are available. Click "Let's chat" for more.
Lets keep our guests hydrated and fed! I encourage servers to continue working during my instruction. But it is up to you! Some venues extend hours, some close, some host in the middle of their business day and operate like normal. You can decide. I want to support your small business! So lets collaborate on how to achieve your goals for the event!
What else?
I bring tablecovers, brushes, paints, table-top easels, canvas, paper towels, garbage bags, and any support materials. Please make arrangements for tables (chairs optional- many prefer to stand anyway) & a sink for filling water cups & washing brushes.
Tickets are sold on my website (with some acceptions, just ask) for $35, making this a great value for guests too!
For Private Event Organizers
How much does it cost?
$40 per person covers usage of my supplies (easels, brushes, cups, paint), & set-up, instruction of one artwork, + clean-up.
We prefer Venmo or Cash App for payment but also have Square so we can accept all major credit cards too. Cash is also accepted. Payment may be made on site.
What do I get for hosting?
My goal is to provide creative fun in a comfortable environment and with people you choose in your home space. I aim to support each guest achieve their desired result, but will not paint on guest canvases unless asked. I want to share the secrets to being a more successful creator & aim to remind guests that they are creative beings that deserve to have leisure time that supports their mental health*.

Who should come?
Everyone really! People 13+ is what I typically instruct step-by-step. I like to leave it up to parents if their child can follow along with the grown ups. I do offer private kids parties for anyone wanting entertainment for their kids in the future. Cheerleaders for creators are fine!
